K Vinters – Ovide Jack’s Vineyard – Walla Walla Valley – 2020
Rating: 96 pts – Jeb Dunnuck
Composition: 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Syrah
Planted in 1999, Jack’s Vineyard is a stony, ancient riverbed located on the floor of the Walla Walla Valley. The vineyard features loam-cobbles over gravel over sand. Low vigor keeps flavors concentrated in the rocky soils of this part of the valley.
“Red and black fruits, bacon fat, iron, cold fireplace, and bouquet garni notes define the aromatics, and this beauty is medium to full-bodied, has ultra-fine tannins, and flawless balance. It’s a brilliant red to enjoy over the coming decade”. – Jeb Dunnuck

Conn Creek – Special Selection – Napa Valley - 2022
Rating: 95 pts - Decanter
Composition: 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec
The Conn Creek 'Special Selection' is a blend of appellations that were among the original sources of the estate (established in 1973) and from sites around Napa Valley. The idea is to frame a classically fashioned snapshot of Napa Cabernet through the eyes of Elizabeth DeLouise-Gant, who has been making the wines since 2017.
This 2019 is over a classic vintage expression, with fruit from Mt. Veeder, Oakville, St. Helena, Howell Mountain, Rutherford, Atlas Peak, and Spring Mountain AVAs. Very pretty blackberry fruit aromas, nuanced by tobacco, cedarwood, and graphite. Medium to full-bodied with tobacco-laced blackberry fruit, Bing cherry, and spiced plums, with delicious vanilla-kissed sweet oak spices and an undercurrent of mocha with fine-grained tannins and a finish of chalky minerality.

Vineyard 29 – Aida Estate – St. Helena – 2015
Rating: 96 pts – Robert Parkers Wine Advocate
Composition: 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot
Cases Produced: 675
Our Aida Estate Vineyard has confirmed our initial belief that this site would be the ideal location for growing Bordeaux varietals. Just north of the pinch in the hourglass of the Napa Valley, the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our Aida Estate provide the bold, structured backbone for this immensely enjoyable wine.
The depth of the 2015 Aida Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is ush with concentrated black cherries, violets, cassis, and cocoa. Slate minerality and scorched earth, along with wafts of tapenade, lend weight to this full-bodied wine. Cedar and black pepper, paired with good acidity and freshness, help round out this tautly built Cabernet. This upper valley cabernet will offer a spectacular glass of wine for the next twenty plus years.
