This first release with winemaker Jean Hoefliger at the helm ushers in a new era for Collide wines. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, from five select sites across Sonoma's Alexander Valley, made in a classic California style. Aromas of blueberries and black currants, with dusty cocoa nibs, and light cedar notes welcome you to the glass, where  you are met with an onrush of black cherry, with lustrous vanilla Chantilly cream, and accents of graphite on the long, velvety finish. An assortment of smoldering sage and blood orange peel lingers long after each sip, uplifting the wine's final note and begging you to indulge in just one more sip.

Nellcôte - Rutherford Reserve - Napa Valley - 2021

We craft Napa Valley wines in limited quantities, blending passion with meticulous precision. Inspired by our roots in the idyllic St. Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera and the iconic Villa Nellcôte—where the Rolling Stones recorded Exile on Main Street—we infuse every bottle with a spirit of romance, luxury, and artistry.

Elegantly full, with Rutherford’s signature dusty tannins, and a boldly rich crème de cassis character. The 2021 Rutherford Reserve is awash with blackberries and black currants, spearmint and smoldering sage, with shavings of graphite, all effortlessly uplifted by aromatics of rose petals and dried peonies. A vibrant core of strawberry compote, with hints of baked rhubarb pie, and toasted peppercorns flashes brilliantly, before descending back into the primordial depths of inky Rutherford classicism – with volcanic-tinged minerals and raw power befitting of a wine built to last. The balance and harmony of the already legendary 2021 vintage is readily evident, making for a release that will excel both now, and in the distant years yet to come.

Grace Family Vineyard – Reliquus - St. Helena – 2019

Rating: 95 pts – James Suckling

Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2019 Reliquus has a lovely dark nose of black cherry, plum, bay leaf, violets, and pine forest. It is very silky, finessed, and round on the palate, with flavors of black and red cherry, cedar, and aromatic herbs underpinned by velvety tannins and a long finish. This beautifully proportioned wine is drinking well now, yet has the intensity and balance to cellar well.
