Captûre – Cloverdale Peak – 2019
Rating: 93 – Jeb Dunnuck
This Cabernet Sauvignon wraps the rugged spirit of the mountain in an elegant frame. Impossibly dark and inky, a bouquet of freshly picked raspberry jumps out of the glass with cola spice, violets, blueberry pie and hints of brown sugar. Rich raspberry compote, cassis, and milk chocolate notes reveal themselves on the palate overlaid with warm pepper and spice box aromas. The palate is prominent with mountainous tannins that will age gracefully in the cellar.
Galerie Pleinair - Napa Valley - 2017
Rating: 91 - Wine Advocate
Composition: 100% Cabernet
The 2017 Pleinair Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a very deep garnet-purple color and bursts from the glass with crushed blueberries, black cherry compote and boysenberries with touches of raisin cake, Chinese five spice and potpourri. Full-bodied, rich and spicy in the mouth, it has lovely freshness and a lovely bit of chew texturing the finish.

Appearance exhibits a deep ruby hue. Aromas are layered with berry and flavors of cherry, cassis and violet. There is a core minerality with lavender tones. The oak is well integrated and has nice toast aromas with hints of vanilla and wild sage. On the palate the wine is lush and firm but also has mature long tannins and supple texture. This wine can be enjoyed now and will age for 10 years.
